Exploring Vancouver doing well

Exploring Vancouver: The Architectural Guide, written by Harold Kalman and Robin Ward and with colour photographs by John Roaf, was a finalist for a BC Book Prize (the Bill Duthie Booksellers’ Choice Award) and for the City of Vancouver Book Award. The book also received a prestigious communications award from the Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals. It has been selling well and is now into its second printing. This guidebook to new and old architecture tells the stories of Vancouver and its inner suburbs through their buildings, landscapes, and the built environment. The Vancouver Sun‘s John Mackie calls the photographs ‘stunning’ and the text ‘compelling’. Canadian Architect describes it as an ‘essential and authoritative guidebook.’
